The Gas Mask is a very useful item. when wearing it, your character will be immune to the effects of radiation. Gas Masks are particularly useful in radiation storms and irradiated locations.
When walking into a cloud of smoke, your character won’t get a smoke effect on your screen. The gas mask also offers full protection against tear gas, sleep gas, and nerve gas.
The only downside to using the Gas Mask is that it can obstruct your vision, making it difficult to see.
