The Katana is characterized by its distinctive appearance - a curved, single-edged blade with a circular guard and long grip to accommodate two hands.
The Katana is a powerful Melee weapon, being able to kill most Mutants and/or Players in 2 to 3 hits. Because of its length, the Katana has a greater effective melee range than weapons like the Police Baton or the Hunting Knife.
A rare variant of the Katana, the Black Widow, also exists. As its name suggests, the Black Widow variant made from black steel.
