The M97 is a ranged weapon that fires 40mm Grenades.
Overview[]
The M97 is a single-shot grenade launcher with a break-action operation. It fires a single 40mm Grenade fed from the breech.
The M97 resembles a break-action shotgun, with a stock and fore-end made of wood. A folding ladder–style leaf sight assists the operator in aiming and range adjustment.
Properties[]
Being a single-shot weapon, the M97 has to be reloaded after every shot, which significantly limits its fire rate.
The grenade deals high damage through a wide area, making the weapon ill-suited for close quarters combat.
Due lower velocity of the projectile, the grenade arcs greatly over long distances.
