Overview[]
The Optic Scope is a weapon accessory that can be attached to certain ranged weapons. It is a telescopic weapon sight that provides a magnified level of zoom. The Optic Scope features a horseshoe dot style reticle with a bullet drop compensator.
The red dot in the middle of the circle marks the point of aim for a target at 100 meters. Below the circle is the bullet drop compensator, a range-finding line designed to compensate for the trajectory of the bullet from 300 to 800 meters. It is unlikely that this feature has been modelled accurately in game.
Although the Optic Scope's elevated zoom provides a closer view of the target, users may suffer from the loss of peripheral vision.
