The Survivotron VI is a piece of equipment that can only be equipped in Belt Slots.
Overview[]
The Survivotron VI is a handheld communications and navigation device. It comes with several in-built functions, including a GPS coordinates finder, a compass, an altimeter, as well as an in-built Geiger counter. It also functions as a walkie-talkie, allowing players to communicate with one another over long distances.
Usage[]
The Survivotron VI needs to be powered up before use. This can be done by pressing the [Primary Attack] key, which toggled it on and off. As long as the user has the Survivotron VI equipped and turned on, their Push-to-Talk defaults to speaking over the radio.
The Survivotron VI can only be equipped in Belt Slots, and equipped using the [Utility Slot 5] or [Utility Slot 6] keys.
The Survivotron VI features two main operating modes; Navigation and Communication. Users may toggle between the two modes by pressing the [Switch Firemode] key. This can only be done whenever the Survivotron VI is powered up.
In the Navigation mode, the Survivotron VI displays the user's current GPS coordinates, compass orientation, ground speed, and elevation.
In the Communication mode, the Survivotron VI displays the selected radio frequency and band. It also indicates the current in-game time, temperature, and radiation level.
Users may switch between radio frequencies and bands by pressing the [Page Up/Down] and [Home] keys, respectively.

- CB 26.965 MHz - 27.405 MHz / 40 channels (Low quality communication)
- FM 87.8 MHz - 108.0 MHz / 5 channels (High quality receive)
- VHF 6M - 50 MHz - 54 MHz / 40 channel (Medium quality communication)
- VHF 2M - 144 MHz – 146 MHz / 20 channel (High quality communication)
- VHF 1.25M - 222 – 225 MHz / 30 channel (High quality communication)
