The Wasteland .22 is a .22 calibre lever-action repeating rifle. It fires up to 10 .22 calibre cartridges from an internal magazine.
The Wasteland .22 features a buttstock and forearm made from wood. The receiver is made from metal, complete with engravings. The weapon is built with iron sights. It appears to have tape covering the buttstock, and wires coiled around the barrel and forearm.

Being a lever-action rifle, the Wasteland .22 has to be manually cycled after every shot. However, its lever-action design gives it a rate of fire higher than that of most bolt-action rifles like the Carlington BA-70 (but still lower than that of semi-automatic firearms).
